Spiced Orange Marmalade Glaze For Ham, or the perfect sauce for Pork Tenderloin, Chicken, or Shrimp! Yum!

This spiced orange marmalade glaze is a perfect compliment to ham! I think it would be a wonderful sauce for Pork Tenderloin, Chicken, Seafood, and so much more. It’s soooooo delicious! Here’s the recipe for you:

You’ll Need:

  • 1 Fully Cooked Bone-In Ham (about 7-9 lbs.)
  • 1 (18 oz.) jar of orange marmalade
  • 1/2 cup of maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup of orange juice
  • 1 T Cayenne Pepper Sauce

Now:

  • Preheat your oven to 325 degrees
  • Place the ham, so the sliced portion is facing down with all of the skin exposed for glazing, in a roasting pan
  • Cover it, and bake using your guide on the packaging. Approximate time should be 1&1/2 to 2&1/4 hours. Here’s a handy chart that shows the approximate cooking time for all kinds of ham!

  • While that’s cooking, gather your supplies for the glaze, and get a small saucepan out
  • Over medium heat, combine all of the ingredients for the glaze – marmalade, syrup, juice, and hot sauce
  • Heat until everything is well blended, and smooth
  • Pour about 1 cup of the glaze into a bowl for glazing your ham, and keep ┬áthe rest in the saucepan for now
  • Remove the ham from the oven, brush some of the glaze on the ham
  • Return the ham to the oven, uncovered, and continue to bake for about 15 minutes – occasionally adding more glaze
  • Bring the preserves to a boil. Cook stirring constantly for about 1 minute
