The Race Down The Indiana Dunes – Kid Friendly Things To Do .comPosted by Melissa in About Us, Our Crazy Days!, Random Thoughts | 0 comments
It’s fun to see “my brood” racing down the same dunes that I ran down so many years ago! If you happen to find yourself in the North-East section of Indiana, make sure to check out Indiana Dunes State Park in Chesterton, Indiana! The dunes are a natural beauty full of marshes, flora, and fauna! My favorite part of the dunes will always be climbing to the top of the awesome sand hills, and running down free of inhibitions, giggling, and laughing all the way down! It’s impossible not to feel like a kid again! And, just look at the water. You could be fooled into thinking you’re on the ocean! You can even see Chicago’s skyline in the distance! Fun times!:
- The race is on!
- Lake Michigan fun with family! The only thing missing is all of the treasure I like to find on the New England coast. I miss the crabs, and fun little sea creatures we found there. I really miss the “Sea Glass” hunts! I couldn’t find one piece of sea glass, yesterday. I guess here it would be called Lake Glass.
