Can you believe it’s the end of December?  Christmas at our house has come and gone, and that is just crazy. Now that all of the work of making Christmas wonderful and magical for the kids is over, I’m trying to get into planning mode for the next big family fun event…New Years Eve! We will be hosting our traditional Minute To Win It Party for the family, and we will definitely be snacking on these yummy and might I say, easy to make, snowman peppermint sticks!

I love the different expressions that we got from the snowmen. Some of the mini chocolate chips look like sunglasses. They are so much fun!

For this Snowman Peppermint Stick fun food, you’ll need:

  • Soft peppermint sticks
  • White chocolate melts
  • Orange sprinkles
  • Mini chocolate chips

Additional Equipment:

  • Wax paper
  • Glass bowl

These are so easy to make. Just:

  • Using the package directions, melt the chocolate melts in a glass bowl. I use the microwave. I heat them for 1 minute, stir, and then heat an additional 30 seconds and stir again until everything is melted and smooth
  • Get your wax paper set out and ready for your snowmen to dry on
  • Set your sprinkles and chocolate chips out, too
  • Dip each peppermint stick into the bowl of chocolate, about halfway to 3/4 of the way down the peppermint
  • Lay the chocolate covered sticks down and before they dry add your chocolate chips and sprinkles
  • Push the chocolate chips in backwards so the flat surface is facing out
  • Some of mine have a couple of buttons, and some don’t
  • The mouth was just too complicated for an “easy” fun food, so I just left it off altogether. See how that works?!

  • And…tada! You have yummy snowmen to dip into hot cocoa, coffee or just for a fun food treat!

Here’s some stuff you might need or even want for this fun food!
