This hermit crab fun hot dog was inspired from my week on the beach! This is a spin on “pigs in a blanket”! But, this time the crescent roll is used as a shell! Here’s what I did to make these crabs:

You’re going to need:

• hot dogs
• Crescent rolls 
• Knife
• Grill
• Fancy toothpicks with flat ends
• 
• Cut an X into the two ends of the hot dog – leaving a section in the middle undisturbed
• 

 

• Grill the hotdogs to your desired doneness. Insert 2 toothpicks with flat ends for eyes
• Plop a baked crescent roll on top
• 
• That’s it! Enjoy!
