Here’s one I’m bringing out of the archives for you. This cute flower garden craft is perfect for spring and Mother’s Day! These are the sweetest flowers made from popsicle sticks! I love how bright and cheerful they are sitting on my kitchen window sill.  This craft would be a great one for the kids to do for mom, and give as a Mother’s Day gift! Here’s the tutorial:

You’ll Need:

  • Colored popsicle sticks
  • Scissors
  • Glue – we used a warm glue gun
  • Green craft beads
  • Clear egg carton – I found mine at Target

Instructions:

  • A Popsicle Stick Craft - Making A Garden of Flowers
  • First off, you’ll want to make the stems for the flowers. For each stem, I cut one green popsicle stick in half, and used both halves along with one whole green popsicle stick to create the stems
  • Place your whole stick down in a vertical position, and glue the 2 halves in a V formation at the bottom, with the cut sides facing down – Just like the image above

  • For the big yellow flower, Cut 3 Popsicle Sticks in half, and set them out in a circular formation
  • We used a large button to glue the sticks together in the center, and make the flower

  • For each tulip – I cut 3 Popsicle sticks in half

  • Then, I placed the other 3 halved facing the opposite direction
  • This time, 2 of the sticks will set over the middle in a V formation
  • Then, I overlapped them, just like the picture above, and glued the 2 sets of sticks together
