All these ideas look fabulous except the glow in the dark bubbles. After finding a similar blog about the glow in the dark bubbles, my friend and I tried it. As I was carefully cutting the glow sticks, the liquid inside squirted into my friends eye! Thank God my children weren’t helping! She ended up having a serious cornea burn and infection from the toxic liquid! Thank God she is ok now but we will never try this again. Oh, and the bubbles never glowed…epic failure!

Oh my goodness! That’s horrible. These glow in the dark ideas seem like so much fun, but how scary. Yes, definitely an epic fail and dangerous. Thank you for leaving feedback on that idea.

Glow can be done with tonic water, and or highlighters ink diluted in water.. and a black/blue light. The glow in the dark chemicals should be reserved for supervised activities older children with a better understanding on safety.
