Ingredients
  1. 4 Granny Smith apples that have been cored, peeled and sliced up
  2. 1/2 cup of packed light brown sugar
  3. 1 tsp. of ground cinnamon
  4. 1 Tbsp. of lemon juice
  5. 2 Tbsp. of unsalted butter
  6. 2 cups of granola plus more for your bowl
  7. Half and Half, milk, yogurt or cream
  8. walnuts
Instructions
  1. Place the apples in the slow cooker
  2. Mix in brown sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice
  3. Stir in the butter and 2 cups of granola
  4. Place lid on and set on low
  5. Cook 6-8 hours on low
  6. Serve in bowls topped with cream, yogurt or milk plus more granola and walnuts
