- These New Years Eve Glasses are a great way to celebrate any party or celebration, like a birthday party or 100 Days of School party. You’ll only need to change the numbers to some other fun decorations like gold stars and stick-on gems.

- Sunglasses – I found some fun sunglasses at The Dollar Tree. They have kid-sizes and adult-sized sunglasses.
- Sticker Numbers – Colorful glitter numbers would be so much fun for this DIY glasses project.
- Sticky Jewels – I found some sticky jewel strips at my local Wal-Mart.
- Flourish Foam Stickers – These beautiful sticker designs add a real New Year’s Eve flare to the New Years Glasses.
- Glue – I used Fabri-tac glue for the glasses, which is a tacky craft glue

How to Make DIY Party Sunglasses
- Glue the numbered stickers onto the front of the glasses with the first two digits of the year on the left side and the last two digits over the right side of the glasses (This is if you are looking at the glasses, not wearing them, yet)
- Add jewel stickers to the rims of the glasses and on the sides
- Place a flourish in the center of the glasses. Add glue to secure it in place
Variation
DIY Star Sunglasses
These glasses would be a fun idea for the 100 Days of School Party
- Cut a strip of four stars from the star bulletin border strip
- Use a Sharpie marker to write the year or the number of your celebration onto the four stars.
- Glue it to the top of the glasses.
- While the kids wait for the party to start, let them decorate their glasses with foil star stickers, adding them to the rims and sides of the sunglasses.
