Ingredients needed for this Mint Pie

  • 2 cups of crushed Oreos
  • 1/4 cup of melted unsalted butter
  • 7 oz. of fluff
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 3/4 t of peppermint extract
  • 2 T of green sugar crystals
  • optional green food coloring
  • 2 cups of Cool Whip – thawed

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Oreos crushed
  • ¼ cup butter melted unsalted
  • 7 oz. marshmallow fluff
  • ¼ cup milk 2% or whole
  • ¾ t peppermint extract
  • 2 tsp. green food coloring
  • 18 oz. Cool Whip – thawed

Instructions

  • To make your crust – Mix the crushed Oreos and butter together
  • Spray a pie plate with butter-flavored cooking spray
  • Push the cookie mixture into the pie plate and form a crust
  • Pop the pie plate with crust into the refrigerator to cool
  • Mix the fluff and milk together
  • Add extract and food coloring
  • If the mixture is not mint green in color, yet – add another drop of green food coloring and mix
  • Add the whipped cream and only mix until blended together
  • Take your crust out of the fridge, and pour whipped cream mixture into it
  • Place your pie into the freezer overnight to set up
  • Set out at room temperature for about 15 minutes before slicing
