Walking Frito Pie Recipe

This recipe takes me back to the fall fairs in beautiful, warm (oh, how I miss the warmth!) Tennessee. Everyone walked around with bags of Fritos filled to the top with Chili Con Carne, and all of the fixings! Those were the good old days.

I loved it so much, that I thought I would recreate it. Let me tell you, when I had the whole family over last week, for a make-your-own Frito Pie dinner…not a speck was left in the Slow Cooker Pot. Not a speck! I think it was a hit.

If you want to have some fun and make it super easy on yourself, serve it with individual bags of corn chips. Just cut the bag open and pile the yumminess inside. Or, you can serve it up with a big bowl of corn chips and let people build their own Frito Pie.
