Cherry Pineapple Dump Cake {So Easy to Make!}

Cherry Pineapple Dump Cake – an easy dessert for dinner and potlucks


  • 1 can of cherry pie filling
  • 1 can of crushed pineapple
  • 1 box of yellow cake
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter – melted
  • optional toppings…
  • 1 cup of shredded coconut
  • 1/2  cup of pecan pieces


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Pour the cherry filling into the pan – spread out if needed
  • Next, dump the crushed pineapple – again, spread if needed
  • Sprinkle the yellow cake
  • Pour the melted butter over the cake mix
  • Add coconut shavings and pecan pieces to the top
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes
  • Serve with whipped cream


Store leftovers  covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days
