Ingredients

  • stale bread – 8-10 cups of – cubed
  • butter – 2 Tbsp. unsalted
  • sliced celery – 1/2 cup
  • Small sweet white onion – diced
  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • Sage – 2 tsp.
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp.
  • Pepper – 1/4 tsp.
  • Eggs – 2 large

Instructions

  • In a large skillet – melt butter over medium/high heat
  • Add onion and celery – cook for about 5 minutes – or until onions are translucent
  • In a large bowl add bread crumbs and cooked vegetables
  • In a medium bowl mix the broth and spices
  • Add liquid to the bread mixture and toss to coat
  • Pour the stuffing mixture into a greased dish
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes covered and 15 more minutes uncovered
