Can I make Sonic’s Cherry Limeade In Advance?

Yes! This drink can easily be made a day in advance. Just stir before serving over ice. Be aware that soda does tend to lose carbonation the longer it is exposed to air. The flavor will not be impacted but you might not have as much fizz

Storage: Store this drink in a pitcher with the lid on and in the fridge

Serving: Serve over a glass of ice and with maraschino cherries for garnish

Can I make this Cherry Limeade from Diet Soda?

Yes. You can definitely substitute regular lemon-lime soda for diet soda

Tips and Tricks:

• you can substitute grenadine for maraschino cherry syrup, but I don’t think the flavor will be exactly the same
• easily cut the recipe in half  to serve fewer drinks, or double the recipe to feed a larger crowd
• turn leftovers into a slush, by freezing them and then placing it partially thawed into a blender and blending into a slush
