Chocolate Covered Cherries Recipe

These Easy and Delicious Chocolate Covered Cherries will be a big hit with whoever you gift them to. The perfect Valentine's Day treat that is easy to make in 10 minutes.

- powdered sugar - softened butter - almond extract - maraschino cherries - chocolate melts


– Drain all of the cherry juice, and place the cherries between paper towels – Combine the sugar, butter, milk, and extract.  – Grab a pinch of the fondant, and flatten it into a circle

– Place the cherry into the center of the circle, and wrap the fondant around the cherry – Place down on the baking sheet that is lined with wax paper – Cover and refrigerate

– Melt the chocolate  – Dip the sugar-coated cherries into the chocolate

– Place on a wax paper lined baking sheet  – Store these in a covered container in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks before serving
