Banana Bread Bars
Delicious banana bread bars with cream cheese frosting

- ½ cup butter unsalted softened
- 1&1/2 cups sugar
- 2 large eggs beaten
- ¾ cup buttermilk if you don't have buttermilk - add a little lemon juice to your milk and let sit for 5 minutes - Voila' Buttermilk!
- 2 bananas overly ripe
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour all-purpose
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp soda
Cream Cheese Topping
- 2 8 oz. cream cheese
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 Tbsp orange juice
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, and grease a 13 x 9 pan
In a large mixing bowl - Cream the butter and sugar together
Add the eggs milk, bananas, sour cream, & vanilla
Add flour, salt and soda
Pour into your prepared pan
Bake for 30 minutes. Take out and allow to cool down
While that's cooling mix the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and orange juice
Spread onto the banana bread
Cut into bars
Enjoy!
