- 1 9x13 pan Milk Chocolate Brownies - Use a Mix plus ingredients listed on box to add to mix or make your favorite homemade recipe
- Round cookie cutters 2 inch
- 1 16 oz. Chocolate frosting - I used store bought
- Mini Oreos with white center - You can also use regular sized for larger eyes
- 16 Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 24 Candy Corn
Bake brownies in a pan lined with parchment paper
After brownies have cooled completely, lift the parchment paper out of the pan
Use the cookie cutter to make circle shapes out of the brownies
Decorating
Fill a pastry bag topped with a star tip with chocolate frosting
Pipe frosting onto brownies
Twist Oreos apart so the white is still intact
Place 2 Oreos white side up onto the frosted brownie
Finish those off with Chocolate Chips in the center of the whites
Use traditional Candy Corn colors of white, orange and yellow for the beak
Use 2 more pieces of candy corn for the ears - just push those into the brownies so they point up
- The amount will vary depending on the size of the cookie cutter you use. A large circle will make fewer owls than a smaller circle cookie cutter would
- *I used a 3-inch cookie cutter on a 9-inch square brownie batch and was able to get 4 large owls. The owls were large and the kids struggled to eat the whole brownie. I would recommend a circle around 2 &1/2 inches or less.
