Rudolph Christmas Bark

Easy to make and so festive. Christmas bark is the perfect snack to enjoy or give away.

Materials

First Layer

  • 4 cups pretzels
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup melted butter 1 whole stick

Second Layer 

  • 12 oz. Chocolate melts - Almond bark or chocolate melts
  • 30 tiny pretzel twists approximate
  • 24 candy eyes approximate
  • 15 red M&Ms approximate
  • 3 oz. star sprinkles approximate

Instructions

  • chop pretzels in a blender or place them in a bag and crush them
  • In a mixing bowl, add sugar and butter - mix well
  • Spread on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes
  • Let the crust cool
  • Melt chocolate
  • Spread melted chocolate onto the baked crust
  • Break tiny pretzel twists into antler shapes
  • add eyes, pretzel antlers, and red candy to the melted chocolate in the shape of Rudolph's face (making several throughout the pan)
  • sprinkle stars throughout
  • let dry and harden
  • break into chunks

Notes

I don't love Almond Bark for this recipe because it tends to stay soft. Chocolate melts harden a little better in my opinion. But, it's completely your call. Both will work
Store at room temperature for up to 1 week
