Author: Melissa Haines
Cost: $5

Materials

  • 1 2-in. Styrofoam ball- found in craft sections of stores ( about 8 per bag)
  • 1 tissue paper - I used white to represent white frosting, but you can use a different color
  • 1 cupcake wrapper - I like to use a stiff paper wrapper
  • 1 Glue - a tacky glue that dries clear Pom-Poms - Red & Hot Pink to represent the cherries
  • 12 Beads - ( For sprinkles) - Assorted colors look just like rainbow sprinkles, but you can customize this with your favorite colors I used tube beads. Link in post

Instructions

  • Cut an 8x4-inch piece of tissue paper.
  • Wrap the styrofoam ball with the tissue paper. The paper will be taller than the ball
  • Twist the top of the paper so that it crinkles up and comes to a point
  • Glue that into the cupcake wrapper
  • Add a pom-pom cherry on top with glue
  • Glue beads on for sprinkles
