– Cut the toilet paper tube
– Cut several slits in the bottom of your roll going all the way around, and bend them outward
– Take your Green Foam or Felt and trace around the roll onto the green foam
– Keeping your toilet paper roll stationary, trace the inside as well
– Cut the circle shape out making sure the hole is big enough to fit around the tube and wide enough to be a hat brim
– Slide the green felt circle onto the roll
– Using your brown felt, cut a narrow strip
– Wrap it around the bottom of the roll-just above the green felt piece
– Using your yellow felt , cut out a small yellow square
– Set it in the center of the black strip and glue
