Buttery Snow Ball Cookies

Melt in your mouth, buttery, and so easy to make. These Snow Ball Cookies can be made with or without the nuts. An easy and quick Christmas cookie.

– butter  – granulated sugar – water – almond extract – flour – optional: 1 cup of chopped slivered almonds – Bowl of powdered sugar


– Mix butter and sugar until well blended – Add water, & almond extract, and again mix until well blended – Add flour & optional nuts

– Cover dough and refrigerate – Roll the dough into little snow balls, and set them down on an ungreased baking sheet – Bake

– When they are done and cooled, place a few at a time into the bowl of powdered sugar and coat them with sugar – Set them down on a surface to cool the rest of the way – Roll once more in powdered sugar
