Classic Spinach Dip in a Bread Bowl

This Spinach Dip is a recipe that is so nostalgic. You could always find the ever-popular spinach dip at every family party, church function, and potluck.

This spinach dip is usually eaten with pieces of sourdough bread or toasted bread. Crackers are also good as well as vegetables.

- frozen chopped spinach - sour cream -mayonnaise -dry vegetable mix -sliced water chestnuts -chopped green onion

Ingredients 

- sour dough bread bowl  -Optional – carrots, sliced broccoli, sliced celery etc...

Ingredients 

Make sure the spinach is completely drained with very little moisture left 

 

Instructions:

Mix the first 6 ingredients

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1/2 hour

Cut the top off of the bread bowl Pull the bread out of the bowl and cube it 

When you are ready to serve, spoon the dip into the hallowed bread bowl 

-Place dip on a platter and cubed bread around it  -You can also serve with crackers
