Oven Baked Muchos Nachos with Beef and Re-fried Beans

The perfect game day or holiday party appetizer. So easy with plenty enough to feed a crowd.

Materials

  • 1 lb. ground sirloin
  • 1 1 oz. packet of taco seasoning
  • ¾ cup water
  • 1 16 oz. re-fried beans
  • 2 cups Nacho Chips
  • 2 cups Monterey Jack Shredded Cheese - or mixture with Monterey and Colby

Topping Ideas

  • ½ cup lettuce Shredded
  • 1 large tomato Sliced
  • ½ cup Jalapeno  Slices
  • ½ cup black olives Sliced
  • ½ cup Guacamole 
  • ½ cup Sour cream
  • ¼ cup Chopped onion

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees 
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground sirloin
  • Drain
  • Add the taco seasoning packet and 3/4 cup of water - mix in
  • Cook down for a few minutes until most of the moisture is evaporated
  • Add the refried beans and mix in
  • Continue to cook for another minute
  • In a cast iron skillet, or baking sheet
  • Spread chips
  • Spread beef mixture over the chips
  • Add cheese 
  • Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted 
  • Sprinkle topping over the warm nachos and serve immediately
