Equipment

  • 9x13 casserole dish
  • frying pan
  • mixing bowl
  • mixing spoon

Materials

  • 8 oz. wide egg noodles
  • 1 lb. Italian sausage - cooked and crumbled
  • 1 12 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese - divided
  • 2 14 oz. pizza sauce - I used Ragu 
  • Pizza toppings like - pepperoni slices, sliced olives, sliced mushrooms, chopped onions, chopped green peppers etc. (I used pepperoni and black olive slices) 

Instructions

  • Cook noodles per package directions to Al Dente
  • Cook sausage in frying pan until cooked through - crumble
  • Drain off any fat
  • In a large bowl, mix noodles, sausage, sauce, 1/2 of the cheese and toppings
  • Grease casserole dish
  • Pour the casserole into dish
  • Sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the top
  • Bake about 40 minutes at 350 degrees
  • Tips for serving: Serve with bread and salad
