Homemade Chocolate Sauce

Delicious homemade chocolate sauce that's ready in minutes to go over ice cream and other desserts

Materials

  • 2 Tbsp. butter unsalted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • 1&1/4 cups water

Instructions

  • Melt your butter in a saucepan (medium heat)
  • Add everything else
  • Stir with a whisk until smooth -stirring often, while it thickens (for a few minutes)
  • Pour over your favorite ice cream

*The sauce will not be as thick as fudge would be. It will thicken, but you should be able to easily pour it. The sauce will continue to thicken as it cools
