Cracker Barrel Hashbrown Casserole {Best Copy Cat!}

Cracker Barrel Copy Cat Hash Brown Casserole Recipe - Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or potlucks.

Materials

  • 1 30 oz. bag of shredded hash browns - thawed
  • ½ cup of butter - unsalted - melted
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 small - sweet white onion - chopped
  • 1 pound of shredded cheddar cheese - divided
  • 1 tsp. of table salt
  • ½ tsp. of ground black pepper
  • 1 cup of sour cream

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • Grease your 8x10 inch baking dish
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix the onion, soup, salt, pepper, and most of the shredded cheese (reserving 1 cup of cheese for the topping)
  • Add the sour cream and mix in
  • Now, Pour the melted butter in
  • Add hashbrowns, and stir until combined
  • Spread the casserole mixture into your greased pan
  • Bake for 45 minutes
  • Sprinkle on the reserved cheese and bake for an additional 10 minutes

Notes

  • Storing leftovers - cover and refrigerate for up to 4 days
  • Heat by baking, covered in foil until warmed through, or place individual portions on a microwavable plate and microwave until heated through
