Equipment

  • Scissors
  • white chalk or white fabric chalk marker
  • 3M Command Strips - adhesive strips

Materials

  • 1 piece Green felt Check the width of the fabric to decide how many yards you'll want to purchase. You will most likely need one or more yards of green.
  • Felt pieces in a variety of colors for ornaments and decorations. Some color ideas are white, black, red, yellow, and blue. You probably won't need a yard of these colors.

Ideas for Cut Out Decorations 
  • Different-sized white circles to create a snowman
  • Little circles and strips in a variety of colors for faces, accessories, and buttons
  • Make several candy cane shapes from red felt.
  • Make various-sized circles in a variety of colors. for ornaments
  • Make scalloped pieces in different lengths to represent garland
  • Cut out gingerbread men and felt pieces to make gingerbread men's faces and icing.
  • Cut-out squares or rectangles for presents and cut-out bows
  • Make snowflakes for your tree.
  • Cut out a yellow star for the top.
