A delicious whoopie pie with a cream cheese center

Equipment
parchment lined baking sheet
piping bag fitted with a star tip or wide writing tip
Materials
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp.baking soda
2 tsp.unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp.baking powder
½ tsp, salt
½ cupcanola oil
1tsp.white vinegar
1 oz,liquid red food coloring
1 tsp.vanilla extract
1 cupbuttermilk
1.5 cupssugar
2 largeeggs
Filling
8oz. cream cheesesotened
½ cupbutterunsalted - softened
2.5 cups powdered sugar
2 tsp.vanilla extract
Instructions
Set your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
In a medium mixing bowl - add the flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, salt, & baking powder
In a separate large bowl, combine the oil, red food coloring, vinegar, vanilla extract, and buttermilk
Using a whisk or mixer and yet another smaller bowl - Mix the eggs and sugar
Add the egg mixture to the buttermilk mixture and blend
Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix in
Drop a Tablespoon full of the batter onto a parchment-lined baking sheet
bake for about 12 minutes
While those are baking, mix the filling ingredients
Use a piping bag and star tip to add cream cheese filling onto a cooled Whoopie Cookie and add another Whoopie Cookie to the top, press together to make your Whoopie Pie
