Materials

  • Fruit Loops any brand will do
  • yarn or string
  • scissors
  • Tape I typically use clear tape like Scotch tape, but any other type of tape will work as well.

Instructions

  • Pour Fruit Loops into a bowl so the kids can easily grab and choose their favorite colors.
  • Cut pieces of yarn long enough to fit around each child’s wrist, leaving a few extra inches for tying and adding cereal.
  • Wrap a small piece of tape around one end of the yarn to make threading easier, like a makeshift needle.
  • Tie a Fruit Loop to the other end of the yarn to act as a stopper and keep the cereal from sliding off.
  • Let the kids start threading. Encourage them to create patterns or experiment with colors.
  • Once finished, untie the string from the stopper cereal piece.
  • Wrap the bracelet around their wrist and tie the ends together securely. Trim any excess yarn if needed.
