Instructions

Prep the Craft for the kids

  • Cut a large apple shape from construction paper
  • Cut the center out, so only a wide outline remains
  • Cut two pieces of contact paper that are roughly the same size and shape of the apple outline
  • Peel the backing off of "one" of the pieces of the contact paper and place the apple outline onto the sticky side of the contact paper

Add Tissue Paper

  • Kids can cut or tear tissue paper pieces to sparsely fill in the center of their apple shape - leave wide spaces between tissue paper so the sun can shine through

Seal and Finish

  • Peel back the paper from the other contact paper apple shape and place it sticky side down onto the decorated apple
  • Cut a stem and leaf from the brown and green paper
  • Tape those onto the apple

Display

  • Tape your suncatcher to a window and let it shine
