Equipment

  • Baking sheetParchment paper

Materials

  • 16 square waffle pretzels
  • 16 red candy melts
  • 5 mini pretzel sticks (broken into small pieces for stems)
  • 16 mini green M&Ms

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the pretzel squares in a single layer.Place one red candy melt on top of each pretzel, positioned toward the bottom to leave room at the top for the stem.Bake at 300°F for about 3 minutes, just until the candy melts turn glossy and shiny instead of flat and chalky. While the candy is still warm and pliable, press a broken pretzel stick into the top for the stem, then add a mini green M&M beside it for the leaf.Let the tray cool completely at room temperature so the stems and leaves set in place.

Notes

Watch closely near the 2:30 mark — ovens vary, and the candy melts can overheat quickly past that glossy stage. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
