Materials
Base
1 slice CantaloupeBase:
Fruit toppings
1blackberry
1blueberry
1seedless green grape
1raspberry
1strawberry slice
1clementine orange slice
1pineapple chunk
.5 oz. Whipped topping
Art Brush
1stalkCelery with leaves intact
Instructions
Slice down the side of the cantaloupe, avoiding the core.
Pick a slice from your sliced cantaloupe you think is a good base, and carve out a place where the palm would go on an art palette.
Use a fruit corer or something similar to core out a circle where the thumb would go on an art palette.
Set your cantaloupe palette onto a serving plate and arrange fruit around the palette to represent paint colors.
Starting at the bottom of the palette, add a blackberry, blueberry, green grape, red raspberry, strawberry slice, clementine slice, and pineapple chunk
Finally, add a little whipped cream at the top
Leaving some leaves intact, trip the celery stick so that it fits across the cantaloupe slice
Place the celery slice at an angle
I like to arrange the fruit with similar shades next to each other, but also to have contrasting shades for lots of color.
