Bird Nest Haystack Cookie

Equipment

  • 1 large glass bowl microwave proof
  • 1 silicone spatula
  • 1 sheet of wax paper
  • 1 small spoon

Materials

  • 6 oz. butterscotch cups
  • 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips you can use milk chocolate
  • 6 oz. chow-mein noodles
  • 1 cup chocolate covered candy Easter eggs

Instructions

  • Pour your chocolate chips and butterscotch chips into a large microwave proof glass bowl
  • Microwave them for 1 minute, stir, and then microwave for 30 more seconds and stir until smooth
  • Add the chow mein noodles to your melted chocolate and fold them in until coated
  • Set out one or more long strips of wax paper onto your work surface until you have enough to hold about 1 dozen haystack nests
