Materials

  • 12 mini pretzel twists
  • 6 oz. red melting chocolate approximately ½ bag
  • 12 M&Ms brown
  • 12 M&Ms mini green

Instructions

  • Cover a baking sheet or work surface with wax paper. Sort the brown and green M&Ms and set them nearby.
  • Microwave the red melting chocolate in a microwave-safe glass bowl for one minute. Stir well. If needed, microwave for another 30 seconds and stir until smooth.
  • Place one pretzel twist into the melted chocolate and turn it with a fork until completely coated.
  • Lift the pretzel with the fork, allow the excess chocolate to drip into the bowl, and slide it onto the wax paper using a second fork.
  • Before the coating sets, add one brown M&M for the stem and one mini green M&M for the leaf. Use a toothpick to clear the pretzel openings and refine the edges.
  • Let the dipped pretzels rest until the chocolate is completely firm.

Notes

Keep all moisture away from the melting chocolate to prevent it from seizing. If the coating thickens while you work, reheat it briefly according to the package directions. Store the finished pretzels in an airtight container at room temperature.
