Materials
- Dark blue, black, or light blue construction paper (background)
- Cozy Sleeping Bear Printable
- Crayons or colored pencils
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- White tissue paper
- White paint
- Paintbrush
Instructions
- Color and Cut Out the Bear – Let your child color the bear from the printable. Then cut it out carefully.
- Create the Snowy Ground – Tear a piece of tissue paper to match the length of the construction paper and glue it along the bottom as snow.
- Place the Bear – Glue the bear over the tissue paper on the middle section of the paper.
- Add Snow Dots – Use white paint to create snow dots around the bear in the sky and on the ground.
- Make a Cozy Den – Prepare a 9x13 inch piece of tissue paper, accordion-fold or gather it into a 3-inch wide strip. Curve it around the bear as its winter den and glue it in place
