Easy Peppermint Christmas Fudge In Bite Size Shapes

Equipment

  • 9x13 or 11x11 inch baking pan
  • wax paper or parchment paper

Materials

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • ½ cup butter
  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 7 oz. marshmallow creme
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed soft peppermint set aside 2 Tbsp. for decorating

Instructions

  • In a medium size sauce pan, over medium/high heat, mix the milk, sugar, and butter.
  • Bring to a rolling boil for 6 minutes - stir constantly to prevent boiling.
  • Remove from heat and stir in chocolate. Stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  • Add marshmallow creme, vanilla, and (most) peppermint pieces
  • Pour into your pan lined with wax paper, spread out evenly with a silicone spatula.
  • Sprinkle the rest of the peppermint pieces over the top to add a festive touch.
  • Let cool and firm for about 2 hours.
  • Pull the wax paper with fudge out of the pan, and cut into squares.
