Materials

  • 1 lb. strawberries
  • 6 oz. chocolate melts brown
  • 3 oz. chocolate melts white

Instructions

  • Prep the Strawberries

Wash strawberries and dry them thoroughly. Any moisture can cause the chocolate to seize.
  • Melt the Brown Chocolate

Place brown chocolate melts in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute. Stir until smooth. Microwave for 30 more seconds, if needed. Stir until smooth. You’ll need about 6 oz of chocolate melts for 1 pound of strawberries.
  • Dip the Strawberries

Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted brown chocolate. Gently shake off excess chocolate and place on wax paper.
  • Let the Chocolate Set

Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature for a few minutes.
  • Melt the White Chocolate

Melt white chocolate melts or white chocolate bark in a microwave-safe bowl. Only a few ounces are needed, and there will likely be leftovers.
  • Pipe the Football Laces

Spoon the melted white chocolate into a piping bag or zip-top bag. Cut a small tip off the corner. Pipe a vertical line onto each strawberry and horizontal lines for laces.
  • Chill Until Ready

Return strawberries to the refrigerator and chill until serving.
