Materials

  • 8 oz. cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 bag mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Small amount of white chocolate chips (for decorating)

Instructions

  • In a mixer, cream together the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  • Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing until fully combined.
  • Fold in 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips gently.
  • Scoop the mixture onto wax paper and use the paper to mold into a football shape.
  • Spread several chocolate chips on another large piece of wax paper. Place the molded football onto the chocolate chips. Wrap the wax paper up around the cheeseball, pressing the chips onto the sides. Roll it over and repeat to coat the entire football.
  • Use white chocolate chips to create the laces and any additional football details.
  • Serve with fruit, vanilla wafers, or graham crackers.
