Equipment

  • wax paper
  • 2 piping bags
  • small microwave proof glass bowl

Materials

  • 1 lb. fresh strawberries I had to buy 2 lbs. to find enough strawberries that looked how I wanted
  • 6 oz. chocolate white melting chocolate
  • 3 oz. chocolate brown melting chocolates

Instructions

  • Prep the Strawberries - Pick out some strawberries with rounded tips. Rinse and pat them dry with paper towel. Any moisture will prevent the chocolate from sticking.
  • In a small glass microwave proof bowl, melt the white chocolate
  • Make Ghost Tails - Pour some melted white chocolate into a piping bag - snip the end off for squeezing
  • Set out wax paper on your work surface
  • Pipe a ghost tail onto the wax paper
  • Dip Strawberries - Holding the stem of a strawberry into the bowl of melted chocolate - coating all of the sides
  • Set the chocolate strawberry onto the ghost tail to dry
  • Repeat with remaining strawberries
  • Making the Ghost Face - Melt some brown chocolate and pour it into a different piping bag
  • Snip a small opening off of the end of the bag
  • Squeeze out two eyes and a mouth onto each ghost strawberry
  • Let air dry and place on a serving tray
