Handprint Turkey Craft with Printable
Make an adorable Thanksgiving turkey keepsake using colorful handprints or footprints, a free Gobble Gobble printable, and your child's photo.

Materials
- 1 Gobble Gobble turkey printable choose one of the two designs
- 1 sheet white printer paper or cardstock
- Washable age-appropriate paint (red, orange, and yellow)
- 1 photo of your child
- Glue stick
Instructions
- Print the Turkey Template
- Download the free two-page Gobble Gobble printable packet. Choose your favorite turkey design and print it on white paper or cardstock.
- Paint Your Child's Hand
- Use a foam brush to apply washable paint to your child's palm and fingers.
- Make the Turkey Feathers
- Press the painted hand onto the paper above the turkey body, pointing the fingers outward. Repeat with different paint colors, overlapping the handprints to create a fan of colorful feathers.
- Let the Paint Dry
- Allow the painted handprints to dry completely.
- Add Your Child's Photo
- Cut out a small photo of your child's face and glue it just above the turkey belly to complete the Thanksgiving keepsake.
