ziptight baggies gallon and quart sized
rubberbands
food safe gloves
Materials
12 oz. limeade
1 qt. Hawaiian Punch polar blast
1 liter 7-Up or other lemon-lime soda
Instructions
Icebergs
Fill zip-top bags about ¾ full with water.
Gently shape the bags into triangle-like forms. (So water doesn't leak out - You may need to double bag them)
Secure with rubber bands and place them in the freezer until solid.
Making the Punch
In a large punch bowl, add the thawed limeade concentrate.
Pour in the Hawaiian Punch, leaving space at the top for soda and ice.
Slowly add the lemon-lime soda, again leaving room for the icebergs.
Stir gently to combine.
Adding Icebergs
Right before serving, remove the frozen “icebergs” from the bags. I used food-safe gloves for this. They are freezing, plus it keeps the punch germ-free.
Place them into the punch bowl. They’ll crack and break apart naturally, creating fun floating ice chunks.
