Melting Witch Bark

Easily make witch bark cookies with a few simple ingredietns for your Halloween party.

Materials

  • 11 oz. Green melting chocolate wafers
  • 4 oz. Rainbow Sour Candy Strips
  • 15 Oreo Cookies Halloween colors preferred
  • 15 Hershey's Kisses
  • 15 Mini Pretzel Sticks

Instructions

  • Melt your chocolate melts and stir until smooth
  • Set out a large sheet of wax paper on your work surface
  • Drop large spoonfuls of chocolate onto wax paper
  • Use the back of the silicone spoon to spread the chocolate into a swirling circle.
  • Cut rainbow strips in half.
  • Use a toothpick to spread a strip of melted chocolate onto one end of the strip
  • Place a pretzel onto the rainbow strip and roll the strip around it, ending at the melted chocolate
  • Pick up the candy broom and hold the rainbow roll closed as you use kitchen shears to cut strips into the candy
  • When you cut strips into the candy, your chocolate is probably dry. Set the broom seam-side down onto wax paper
  • Use the melted chocolate to glue the Oreo cookie to the green circles
  • Use melted chocolate to glue the Hershey's Kiss onto the cookies
  • Apply melted chocolate to the seam of the brooms and glue those down onto the green circles
