Octopus Hot Dogs

Octopus Hot Dogs are fun and easy summer lunch to make for the kids.

Equipment

  • 1 edible food marker
  • 1 parchment paper lined baking sheet

Materials

  • 1 crescent roll tube
  • 8 hot dogs
  • oven

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375° F
  • Unroll crescent dough onto baking sheet
  • Place hot dogs centered at the wide end so the point is facing upward
  • Fold the point over the hot dog
  • Roll the hot dog and crescent roll
  • Place seam side down
  • Cut 8 strips in the exposed hot dogs for octopus legs
  • Bake for 11-13 minutes or until rolls are cooked through
  • Let cool so it is warm to the touch and decorate with the food marker
