Oreo Snow Globes – Festive Christmas Treats

Equipment

  • wax paper
  • Fork

Materials

  • 20 Oreo cookies
  • 11 oz. chocolate melts white
  • 20 wafers Christmas
  • 2 oz. sprinkles white nonpareils

Instructions

  • Dip the OreosMelt the white chocolate according to package instructions.
    Use a fork to dip each Oreo into the melted chocolate, fully coating it. You might need to turn the cookie over a couple of times.
    Using the fork, lift the cookie up to the side of the bowl and tap the exces chocolate off of the cookie.
    Set on wax paper to cool slightly.
  • Create the StandImmediately press a mini Reese’s cup against the bottom of the Oreo. This will serve as the “base” so your snow globe can stand upright.
  • Decorate Your Snow GlobesWhile the chocolate is still soft, decorate with Christmas wafers and small white sprinkles to resemble snow inside the globe.
  • Let Them SetAllow the chocolate to fully harden before moving or serving. Your Oreo Snow Globes should stand upright and hold their shape beautifully.
