Peach Root Beer Baked Beans

Materials

  • 2-3 slices cooked bacon crumbled
  • 28 oz. baked beans original flavor
  • 21 oz. peach pie filling
  • 12 oz. root beer

Instructions

  • In a Dutch oven or cast iron skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  • Remove the bacon and set aside. Drain excess grease from the pan.
  • Add the baked beans, peach pie filling, and root beer to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
  • Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium-low heat. Let cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and slightly thickened.
  • Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the top just before serving.
