Notes

nutritional values are only an estimate
  • Reduced-fat peanut butter is my family’s flavor preference, but regular creamy or crunchy peanut butter may be substituted.
  • Protein powders vary in flavor and absorbency, so changing brands may affect the taste and consistency.
  • If the mixture is too sticky, mix in a small amount of rolled oats.
  • If it is tooly too dry or crumbly, add a small spoonful of peanut butter or honey.
  • Flaxseed can replace the sesame seeds, although my family prefers the milder sesame-seed flavor.
  • Add more chocolate chips for a stronger chocolate flavor.
  • This recipe contains peanuts and sesame. Depending on the products selected, it may also contain milk or other allergens. Check every package label when preparing it for someone with food allergies.
