Equipment

  • White treat sticks or skewers (8 inch)
  • Small red and white polka dot bows (optional, for Frosty’s scarf — found in the ribbon section at Walmart) optional - for an edible version try licorice rope

Materials

  • 12 Mini powdered donuts
  • 4 Mini Reese’s peanut butter cups
  • 28 Mini chocolate chips (for eyes and smile)
  • 8 Brown M&Ms (for buttons)
  • 4 Orange Mike & Ike candies (for the nose)
  • 1 tsp. White frosting (to attach the nose and optional bow)

Instructions

  • Build the body: Push three mini powdered donuts onto a white treat stick to form the snowman’s body.
  • Add the hat: Place a mini Reese’s cup upside down on top of the stick.
  • Make the face: Use mini chocolate chips for the eyes and smile, pressing the pointed ends into the top donut.
  • Add the buttons: Gently push brown M&Ms into the centers of the two lower donuts.
  • Create the nose: Dab a bit of white frosting on the end of an orange Mike & Ike and place it into the center of the top donut.
  • Add a bow (optional) =
Melt red chocolate and spoon it into the silicone mold. Scrape off excess chocolate.
Set the mold down so the chocolate can dry and harden. To speed up the process, you can pop it into the fridge for a couple of minutes.
Pop the bows out of the mold and place them onto the snowman skewers for an added touch.
