Snowman Hot Chocolate Spoon (Easy Winter Treat)

Equipment

  • plastic spoons
  • wax paper

Materials

  • 6 oz. chocolate melts brown
  • 12 Mini marshmallows
  • 1 Black edible marker
  • 1 Orange edible marker
  • 1 oz. White nonpareil sprinkles

Instructions

  • Use a black edible marker to draw two eyes and a smile on one mini marshmallow.
  • Use an orange edible marker to draw a carrot nose on the same marshmallow.
  • On a second mini marshmallow, draw two black buttons.
  • Stack the two marshmallows vertically to form a snowman and set aside.
  • Melt the brown chocolate melts according to package directions until smooth.
  • Dip the bowl of a plastic spoon into the melted chocolate, filling the spoon and coating the bottom.
  • Place the spoon on wax paper and prop mini marshmallows under the handle so the spoon stays level.
  • While the chocolate is still warm, gently place the snowman marshmallows into the center of the spoon.
  • Sprinkle white nonpareils around the snowman to create a snowy effect.
  • Allow the chocolate to fully set before serving or packaging.
