Spoons Game
A fun family card game of spoons.

Materials
- 3+ players
- 1 deck of playing cards a standard 52-card deck
- spoons One fewer than the number of players
Instructions
- Have everyone sit around a table or in a circle on the floor. Place the spoons in the center, within reach of every player.
- Use one fewer spoon than the number of players.Choose a dealer. The dealer shuffles the deck, deals four cards to each player, and places the remaining cards nearby as the draw pile.
- The dealer draws one card and decides whether to keep it. The dealer then passes one card to the player on the right, always keeping only four cards in their hand.
- Each player looks at the card passed to them, decides which four cards to keep, and passes one unwanted card to the player on their right.
- The last player in the circle places their unwanted card into a discard pile. Continue drawing and passing cards quickly around the table.
- As soon as a player collects four of a kind, they quietly take a spoon from the center without announcing it.
- Once the other players notice that someone has taken a spoon, they each try to grab one. The player left without a spoon receives the next letter in the word SPOONS.
- Reshuffle the cards and begin another round. The player who lost the previous round becomes the new dealer.
- Continue playing and assigning letters. When a player spells the entire word SPOONS, they are eliminated. The last remaining player wins.
