  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups granola cereal your favorite flavor

Serving Suggestions

  • Serve with more granola
  • Heavy cream the best Half and Half, milk, or yogurt
  • walnuts or any other type of nut

Instructions

  • Pour the granola into the bottom of the foil pan
  • Mix the apples and lemon juice
  • Add brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter  to the apples - mix in
  • Pour apples over the granola
  • cook with the lid on and the temperature on high for 2-4 hours
  • Take the lid off and fold the granola from the bottom of the pan into the apples
  • Serve in bowls topped with heavy cream, yogurt, or milk plus more granola (if you want a crunch) and walnuts

Notes

If you want a bread-like texture from your granola, pour 1-2 cups of apple juice into the pan. It will fluff the granola up quite nicely into a bread pudding-like texture.
Adjusting the time period to cook longer - you can cook on low for 6-8 hours
