Materials

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. Jalapeno Slices - chopped
  • 1 tbsp. Stone Ground Mustard
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp. Minced fresh cilantro

Instructions

  • Peel the hard-boiled eggs, and cut in half
  • Place the white portion in your deviled egg tray
  • Place the yolks into a medium sized mixing bowl, and mash
  • Add the rest of the ingredients, reserving 1 Tblsp. of cilantro
  • Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture into the egg whites, and sprinkle the cilantro on top for decoration and more flavor
  • Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve

Notes

Even with 1/4 cup of mayonnaise and some mustard, the egg mixture is still on the firm side. If you like your deviled eggs to be super creamy and moist, I would suggest adding another 1/4 cup of mayonnaise. To be sure, hold off until the mixture is ready. You can always add more, but it's hard to take it back once you've added it. :)
